I am a recent Master of Architecture graduate currently working on community projects at Deicke Richards, a cross-disciplinary practice that uses design to achieve social purpose. I am committed to and particularly interested in architectural activism, and last year participated in a Parlour social media takeover profiling the Kangaroo Point blockade and the role of architecture in a political landscape. My interest in activism extends to the future of community spaces, with a particular focus on cultural, environmental and social sustainability. Since 2020 I have been involved with the Gabba Community Vision team, a group campaigning to advocate for green space in the Woolloongabba Cross River Rail precinct.
During my spare time, I conduct small research projects surrounding earth as a building material. I am particularly interested in the social and cultural implications of natural building materials and also love to get my hands dirty in mud and clay.
