Felicity is Principal of urban consultancy Culture+Context. Although better known as a strategic facilitator and cultural heritage and urban policy specialist, Felicity is also a qualified coach, trainer and nationally-accredited mediator and offers Leadership Coaching to Women in the Built Environment through Morel Consulting. Felicity was a member of the Cabinet appointed Working Group to decide the future use of the Old Treasury Buildings (now State Buildings), Project Manager for the conversion of the Old Hale School to the Constitutional Centre of WA in Parliament Place, Director of Stakeholder Management and Strategy in theDepartment of Planning and Infrastructure, and Strategic Advisor to the WA Museum.
She is an expert member of the ICOMOS International Committee on the Interpretation and Presentation of Heritage Sites (ICIP), and is a member of the Urban Design Committee of the AIA (WA Chapter) and was the Consultant for the State’s Cultural Infrastructure Strategy.
Felicity is an Individual Trustee of CEDA (the Committee for Economic Development of Australia), and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Research includes the urban core of Perth and its history, heritage and cultural development.She has studied and published on the planning and symbolism of cities, the reading of authenticity, architecture and spatial relationships, urbanisation as a physical and psychological process, and the interaction between culture in cities, interpretation and new technologies. She has travelled extensively studying cities and speaking at international conferences. She is an Affiliate of the Electronic Cultural Atlas Initiative at University of California Berkeley and has been an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia since 2007.
