Gabrielle Seymour

Architect
Baukultur

Gabrielle is a practicing architect at Baukultur, working in Adelaide on Kaurna land. Her interest in architectural typologies is diverse, with a passion for local engagement, thoughtful design, and environmentally focused outcomes.

Gabrielle's experience is primarily across large-scale commercial and mixed-use residential architecture, extending to integrated workplace design, heritage refurbishment, and educational facilities across Australia.

Beyond the studio, she enjoys sessional tutoring at UniSA (School of Architecture and Design) and is the 2022-23 Co-Chair with the SA Chapter EmAGN committee through the Institute of Architects.

One of Gabrielle's many passion projects within EmGAN is 'Archibubs' - a parent networking and support group that was born out of her feeling a distinct lack of similar groups in our industry ahead of the imminent arrival of her first child. The group is now run across most states in Australia, offering both a face-to-face local presence and online lunchtime events that navigate the complexities of parenting and forging a career in architecture and interior design.
