Sarah Buckeridge

Co-Managing Director

Sarah began her career by jumping on a plane as a 23-year-old graduate to look for work in Singapore and ended up working for nearly three years with award-winning Argentine designer, Ernesto Bedmar, on contemporary tropical houses. She has been a director of Hayball since 2007, a time that has seen the practice grow to become a national urban design, architecture and interior design practice with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. She was named Co-Managing Director earlier this year.

With an abiding interest in creating sustainable communities, she has helped shape planning policy around affordable housing and integrated mixed-use precincts. Sarah is a long term member of the Australian Institute of Architects and the Victorian Planning and Environmental Law Association (VPELA) member as well as an active member of the Property Council of Australia serving on the Planning and Infill Committee and as a sponsor for several Hayball architects in the 500 Women in Property program.
