Caroline Pidcock has been shaped by the lands and the mighty water systems of the places in which she was born (Grafton) and raised (Sydney). She is inspired by the creative capacity of architecture, and finding ways to explore potential for regenerative ideas. Since starting her own architectural practice in 1992, she has focused on what sustainable architecture can be, both in practice and through contributing to a wide range of professional, academic and community organisations. This includes being President of the NSW Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects and the Australian Sustainable Built Environment Council, Co-Founder and Spokesperson for Australian Architects Declare and the Living Future Institute Australia, Chair of 1 Million Women and Carriageworks, and teaching at many Universities in NSW. Her inspiring approach to the thriving future we need to co-create has seen her speak to a wide range of audiences across Australia and internationally.
