Vlasta Jeftic
Project LeadMather Architecture
Vlasta Jeftic is a designer and a humanitarian whose body of work includes projects in South Sudan for United Nations, human-centred work in Timor-Leste and numerous private sector developments across Australia and overseas.
She facilitated Women in Engineering in support of gender diversity in Timor-Leste and was the sole civilian female project architect in Bentiu, South Sudan, working with a team of 20 to deliver a UN field hospital, road rehabilitation and assistance on Protection of Civilians camp management with International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
Her work extends past the practice environment to include teaching at the University of Canberra, research and small project collaboration.
Vlasta advocates for architecture that is socially responsible, shaping our cultural and social development and establishing foundations for positive change.
