Cassandra Chilton

Landscape Architect. Artist.

Trained in both landscape architecture and gold and silversmithing, Cassandra’s design ethos is centred on craft, materiality, people and place. With 18 years’ experience in practice, Cassandra’s folio includes major public landscape works in Victoria and South Australia. To all of these projects she has brought an interest in designing identifiable and engaging spaces that elevate the everyday experience of all users and ultimately better connect people to their environments and each other.

Cassandra is also a founding member of the feminist art collective Hotham Street Ladies whose humorous and occasionally controversial works have been widely published; and exhibited locally and internationally.

She was the Creative Director for the 2019 AILA International Festival of Landscape Architecture and is a contributor to Landscape Australia and Architecture Australia.
