Jacqui Wagar
National Sustainability LeaderStylecraft
Originally from the UK, where she graduated with a BA Hons in Interior Architecture, Jacqui moved to Australia in 2002 and has over 15 years of experience within the design industry.
Within Stylecraft, Jacqui has 7 years of experience across several roles with the most recent being National Sustainability Leader, a role created in 2017 in response to the increasing requirement for uninterrupted focus on the area. She is able to combine her passion for the environment with her skills and unique perspective and understanding of the industry.
Jacqui understands the challenges and opportunities facing businesses in Australia in regards to corporate & social responsibility, sustainable procurement and supply chain due diligence.
She is currently working to support Stylecraft’s sustainable, ethical and environmental commitments to third party product certification, the United Nations Global Compact Ten Principles and Global Goals, CitySwitch and more recently to ensure they meet their requirements for the Modern Slavery Act.
Jacqui aims to educate Stylecraft team members and clients within the design industry on the details and importance of these commitments and to ensure they become part of the design community vernacular. To this note, Jacqui gives regular presentations and has hosted workshops on both business and personal sustainability, and has also taken part in several sustainability and Modern Slavery panel discussions.
Jacqui is a Climate Reality Leader, a Greenstar Associate and is currently studying to become a WELL AP.
