Laura Bulmer

I'm a sustainable architect based on the Bass Coast and in Melbourne. I completed my Master of Architecture at the University of Melbourne in 2010 and I have worked for leading sustainable architecture practices in Melbourne. I have delivered many residential, community and commercial projects, including a number of award-winning projects in urban and regional areas.

I compost, am vegan, and driven to create carbon neutral, multi-species friendly, culturally conscious architecture that respects the ancient Country I live, learn and work on, and the Traditional Custodians that continue to sustain it over millennia. Alongside my architecture practice I'm involved with direct-action protest groups fighting for a healthy climate, and I'm actively involved in the cultural and practical shifts needed for the architectural profession to respond to the climate crisis.
