I grew up in the sleepy seaside town of Hervey Bay and moved to Brisbane to study architecture at the Queensland University of Technology. I instantly fell deep into this wonderful world of design. It was through my studies where I found an inquisitiveness to further explore the parallels between landscape architecture and architecture. This led me to find work in a multidisciplinary firm where these relationships are constantly in motion. I find inspiration in the works Carlo Scarpa and literature of Juhani Pallasmaa. I believe it is through the coming together of the mind and hand that the design can be fully realised.
