Natalie Hoitz

Director - Urban Design
Urbis

As an urban designer with a background in architecture, urban systems and planning, I am passionate about shaping cities and places that we all can thrive in, be proud of and leave a positive legacy for future generations.

Since 1998 I have work across all levels of urban strategic design and facilitation of development. My work ranges from the very focused site specific, to whole of city and regional scale. I bring a rare commercial acumen and ability to cut to the core of the matter to all my projects.

Over the years, I have been lucky enough to work for a diverse array of clients on the master planning and strategic positioning of health and education campuses, airports, sporting facilities, tourism facilities, waterfronts and whole cities. Of particular note is my experience in the strategic revitalisation of city and town centres, and key public spaces; balancing a range of competing priorities and land uses to drive outcomes that ensure people want to live, play and work there long after change has been realised.
