Debra has become renowned over the last 30 years for creating innovative, high quality architectural solutions for a range of residential and community based projects. Debra is a multi-award winning architect with a reputation for working cooperatively with clients to provide creative, responsive, functional and appropriate architectural solutions.

For over two decades, Debra’s previous practice, Hofman and Brown Architects, grew into one of Perth’s most respected boutique architectural practices. More recently, Debra’s new practice, Debra Brown Architect, has continued to offer a personalised, professional and comprehensive level of architectural service where attention to detail is paramount.

Debra has received several industry design awards including several Royal Australian Institute of Architects Architecture Awards and Commendations over the last 20 years.  She Is committed to being involved in the architectural profession, architectural education and community organisations. During the 1990’s Debra was a founding and committee member of the Women in Architecture Group and the Women and Planning Network in WA. She is an examiner and past member of the Architects’ Board of WA, a past WA Chapter Councillor and Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and has held various other board, committee and teaching positions throughout her career.
