Jen is a lecturer in the landscape architecture program at RMIT, an AILA registered landscape architect and a PhD candidate in RMIT's School of Architecture and Urban Design. Her current research and teaching explore the expanded role of landscape practices in designer- and community-led housing development.

Jen has taught studios and seminars at RMIT and the University of Melbourne since 2014. Prior to joining RMIT, she practiced for six years at TCL where her work focused on research, master planning strategies and the development of creative approaches to project sites and design briefs. She prepared TCL’s award-winning Point Nepean National Park master plan and a precinct structure plan for the cultural landscape of the Yarra River, both drawing together Traditional Owner, specialist and stakeholder input towards comprehensive design strategies. She is actively involved in AILA and has explored key issues of the profession through industry and peer-reviewed publications and through a range of public discussions including the 2018 AILA International Festival of Landscape Architecture.
