Jean-Marie Spencer
ArchitectJean-Marie is a Melbourne-based practising architect.
Jean-Marie holds a belief in a considered design approach (always), creative solutions to unique and everyday problems (always), and great communication (open) and is driven by an underlying impatience to keep learning.
Jean-Marie has worked across a variety of project scales. Including small public works, residential alterations and multi-res.
Some fulfilling moments include, but are not limited to;
- Project lead on NGWOW - WOWOWA's Nightingale project, in collaboration with Breathe Architecture
- Graduate Jury member on the Colorbond Jury for the Victorian Architecture Awards: 2018
- Pavilion attendant for the Australian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale: 2016
- Sessional tutoring in the first year program at RMIT: 2016 & 2017
- Consecutive Master of Architecture design studios at RMIT; Dirty Coal, Beloved Coal, EFDC, EFDC Pty Ltd & Price Index, led with Andre Bonnice
- Co-supervision of Master of Architecture Major Projects, with Andre Bonnice
