Kirsty Kelly is a leader in the built environment, where she facilitates change to create a good life and better future for communities.

With such significant challenges and opportunities being faced in our urban areas, she established her firm Kirsty Kelly Consulting, to use her skills and experience to support people to achieve better outcomes through the built environment.

Prior to establishing her strategy and management consulting firm in 2017, she was the Chief Executive Officer of the Planning Institute of Australia. She is a Registered Planner and has worked as an urban and regional planner in local, state and territory government, the private sector, academia and non-profit associations. She has collaborated with leaders, governments, industry and professionals to bring about positive change and transformation in the built environment to benefit communities.

An accomplished public speaker, she is an experienced panellist and media spokesperson. Kirsty has served as a juror for awards programs including the Australian Institute of Architects, Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, Consult Australia and the Planning Institute of Australia.
