Suzanne Bosanquet is a Brisbane architect, community leader, educator, artist, innovator, social activist and business owner.

Suzanne is Director of the award-winning Bosanquet Foley Architects. The practice specialises in engaging, investing and delivering a diverse range of private and public architecture and art.
Thirteen years after it started, Bosanquet Foley Architects is highly regarded, having received more than 400 commissions, of diverse scale and complexity.
Bosanquet Foley Architects delivers projects throughout Australia with a focus on residential architecture. The practice’s philosophy is to deliver quality and environmentally responsive projects, drawing on an inherent understanding of structure, materials, space and light.
The folio of work has a consistent aesthetic while simultaneously delivering individual creative solutions responsive to the client, context, brief and budget. The work is vested with the confidence and calm of well-considered, crafted and liveable architecture made possible through established sustainable relationships.
Suzanne is focused on brokering strategic and sustainable partnerships to create shared value to bring about positive change to the world through architecture, design and art, creating legacies. She is passionate about how architecture and design can correct inequalities and improve people’s quality of life. In partnership, Suzanne has developed a pilot housing model for supported accommodation for women and children homeless due to domestic violence. Her research interests extend to the preservation and engagement of cultural and built heritage in responding to disaster relief efforts and the creation of sustainable social enterprises.
Suzanne has partnered with internationally-recognised bodies, such as Out of the Box Festival, Sculpture by the Sea and LEGO. She has also collaborated with institutions such as the State Library of Queensland, GOMA, QPAC, and WA Art Gallery to produce art installations that are intertwined with education programs for children. Recently she delivered the Pin Wheel Poppies Project in Brisbane for Anzac Day 2017 and in Pozieres, Somme Region, FRANCE for the opening of the International War Animal Memorial.
Suzanne has also recently been engaged as a strategic partnership consultant for the North Queensland Stadium project in Townsville. In this role she is responsible for delivering enduring and sustainable partnerships for the community, through realising economic, cultural, educational, and socially responsible initiatives, benefits and outcomes.
Suzanne has lectured and tutored architectural and interior design at University of Queensland and QUT. She is a registered Architect in Qld and WA and is a graduate of the Glenn Murcutt Masterclass.
Suzanne is a mother to four vibrant young boys and balances this with yoga and kayaking.
