Amalie Wright

Landscape Architect | Architect
Landscapology

Amalie is a landscape architect and architect with a professional focus and diverse experience on urban stormwater and waterway projects.

Through her practice, Landscapology, she jointly led the engagement activities and design for the award-winning Small Creek channel naturalisation project in Ipswich, Queensland.

In recent years Amalie worked with colleagues based in Fiji, Indonesia, the USA, the UK and Australia, on the Revitalising Informal Settlements and their Environments (RISE) project, implementing a range of water sensitive upgrades to water supply and sanitation in informal settlements in Suva and Makassar.

Currently based in Melbourne, Amalie is a Principal Landscape Architect with Tract.

In addition to her practice, she has tutored widely in landscape and architecture. Amalie is an AILA Fellow, and has served as both Queensland President and National Board Director.

As a gold-standard introvert, recommended conversation topics for Amalie include waterway projects, her excellent cat, ceramics, Scandi Noir, and her laboured attempt at writing a novel.
