Allison's design career has encompassed a diverse range of projects, spanning high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, education, and remote health and social housing. Her work has often involved direct collaboration with Indigenous communities in regions such as the Northern Territory, Southwest Victoria, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, India, New Zealand, and Western Australia.

In 2007, she made the move to Australia to pursue a Master of Architecture at the University of Melbourne. During this journey, she exhibited an exceptional dedication to Indigenous town-camp communities in the Northern Territory, earning a prestigious Knowledge Transfer Award in 2009. Her expertise primarily centers on remote project delivery and comprehensive project management, encompassing interior design and architecture.

Over the past 13 years, Allison has served as a Project and Design Architect, guiding projects from conceptualization to the resolution of defects and liability issues. Her extensive experience spans various domains, including Indigenous housing, social housing, tourism, remote health, remote education, community development, commercial interiors, and feasibility studies.

Allison maintains a lifelong commitment to youth outreach, actively engaging in sports, recreation, and mentorship initiatives. Her involvement includes contributions to the Broome Drop-in Centre, leadership in the late-night HYPE bus program, and voluntary work with the Midnight Basketball Program in Darwin. She has also taken on mentorship roles for young Indigenous women through the Stars Foundation Program in Darwin, Northern Territory, and continues this work in her new home in Northern Queensland.

Allison's dedication to the field of architecture extends to her involvement in teaching at various levels, covering subjects such as architecture, design, and furniture design. She has been notably influential in The Bower Studio program at the University of Melbourne, working closely with Dr. David O’Brien. Additionally, she recently shared her expertise by teaching Professional Practice to Master of Architecture students at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand.

Allison's journey involved a sabbatical in India, where she volunteered for The Anganwadi Project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh in 2019.
