She is an expert strategic design advisor, skilled in leading project, policy and advocacy initiatives to improve the design of the built environment. A dedicated advocate for the value of good design, she is a respected design reviewer, competition juror and an experienced member of academic boards and institutional design advisory committees. Melinda is an effective teacher and an engaging public speaker who has also written on design for professional and wider audiences. A persuasive communicator, she is keen to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration in developing strategies to improve the design of buildings, streets and public spaces.
