Architect and Founder
The Soft Build

Sue Wittenoom is an architect and founder of The Soft Build.

The Soft Build helps clients use their building projects as scaffolds for organisational change. When a building is new and different, then the design strategy needs to include a change process that focuses on users. As a signatory to the Australian Architects Declare Sue's goal is helping clients do better with less space through thoughtful planning and practical support for new ways of working and learning.

In 2017 she spent a week hosting the @_parlour instagram and retraced her journey from grad architect to independent advisor via Lawrence Nield + Partners, DJRD, Lend Lease, DEGW, AECOM and UNSW.

She has an MBA from the AGSM and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Western Australia. She sings at the Sydney Opera House with the Sydney Philharmonia Choir's Festival chorus, loves libraries and walks everywhere. On a good day that involves part of the Bondi to Manly Walk.
