Mulloway Studio

I am passionate about design, creativity and the built environment. I'm a co-founder of Mulloway Studio—based on Kaurna Country—with over 30 years involvement in architecture and design as well as university teaching and an examiner for registration.
My design work with Mulloway Studio expands beyond the traditional realms of architecture—through to exhibition design, graphics, art and urban sculptural installations. My involvement runs from practice management, strategic planning, through to design and delivery of projects—a 'nose to tail' approach if you like.
Mulloway specialises in community based and urban projects, interpretation and design for culturally significant sites, as well as exhibition design, educational, residential and adaptive re-use. Our practice strongly supports design investigation both in our ‘real’ projects, but also encourages and support investigation and research through participating in design competitions, exhibitions and temporal installations, twice exhibiting at the Venice Biennale.
I am a firm proponent of sustainable design, including cultural sustainability, with projects receiving industry and community awards/commendations. I enjoy a collaborative approach and that is the way I like to work. I contribute design input and discussion within a broader community through participation in various community groups or pro-bono projects.
