Kristin Green is the director of the Australian architecture practice KGA, based in Melbourne. KGA’s projects are big and small but never medium-sized. Their work is informed by a wealth of influences – from old films to new materials technology, to the 'tradie' at the end of the phone line.
KGA is interested in the 'local’ – local materials, local trades and sense of place, whether that be next door or in foreign land. The responsibility to the surrounding environment is critical.
Green’s ongoing contribution to the profession includes; teaching and critiquing design regularly at RMIT and Melbourne Universities, public speaking and forums, conferences and exhibitions.
