Claire Scorpo is the director on all projects at Claire Scorpo Architects, leading the design and consultation process.

Claire's approach to design is grounded in the belief that our external environment and landscape shapes the way we plan our space. She is passionate about challenging notions of what can be achieved on modest budgets and finding opportunities for generosity within tight urban sites.

As well as directing the practice, Claire is also maintains a strong interest in developing new models for affordable homes, and engaging developers and investors to improve access to housing in Australia's cities.

Recently, she has been focusing on regional centers, developing alternative ways we can work in these places in a way that contributes to the local, and broader community

A committed educator, she has been leading design studios at RMIT School of Design since 2011. She is an active member of the Australian Institute of Architects and her work has been exhibited and awarded nationally.
