I am an interdisciplinary spatial researcher and overseas registered architect. I am fascinated by how impactful the design of the built environment is on diverse groups and organisations. My research and consultancy seeks to analyse 'Architectural Design and Lived Experience' and is undertaken in partnership with industry, focusing areas of significance for their people and places. I lead teams in applied research that positively contributes to the production, use and continued re-use of the built environment. Our external funding investigates building design, layouts and spatial organisations against significant impactful lived-experience, health and well-being factors. We use evidenced-based mixed methods to improve future designs, briefing and policies.
