Sophie is a director of Bence Mulcahy, with architect Shamus Mulcahy.

At Bence Mulcahy, Sophie and Shamus are interested in practicing with generosity, finding the potential in projects regardless of scale and budget.

Sophie loves public projects embedded in community.

Sophie advocates for women in Architecture and has been on the Australian Institute of Architect’s National Committee for Gender Equity, local Chapter Council and spearheaded the development of The Findlay Project to bring together women from all corners of the architectural profession in Tasmania.
