Gisela is a qualified architect and urban designer who moved to Australia in 2003 after graduating from the Universität Stuttgart Germany. Gisela is passionate about urban planning and design, and is focused on how residential, commercial and retail spaces can combine to create the very best urban environments.

As one of CA Architects leading architects, she has undertaken a very diversified portfolio of projects, and is currently involved in projects stages from schematic design, design development to documentation. Her experience includes mixed-use institutional buildings, residential and commercial projects, as well as integrated resort and township master planning & urban design.

She is the key to the ESD strategy and performance on CA Architects projects as well as sensitive, integrated design solutions. As a Green Star Accredited Professional she has successfully achieved ESD outcomes through the Conics Building, and the William McCormack Place Stage 2, which is the first 3x 6 Star rated building in the tropics (and regional Australia) and was honoured with the QLD State Award for Sustainability.
