Cristina Garduño Freeman is an early-career research and course director of the Bachelor of Design (Architecture) program at the School of Architecture and Built Environment at Deakin University. Her research sits at the intersection of architecture, heritage and digital media. Before entering academia, she practised professionally in architecture, landscape architecture and urban design, and in visual communication design.
