Sophie Nash
ArchitectSophie is a registered architect with 6+ years post-graduate experience. As an agile, all-rounded, personable leader, Sophie can communicate, negotiate and motivate at all levels within a practice. She is equipped with comprehensive technical abilities through all the design and documentation stages. She has gained a significant amount of project experience at a leadership level, working in small and dynamic studio environments.
Born in Hobart, she studied at RMIT in Melbourne and SCI-Arc in Los Angeles. She has worked as an architect for internationally-recognised practices such as Sam Jacob Studio in London and McBride Charles Ryan in Melbourne. She has also worked as a research assistant at the ETH in Zurich. She has contributed as co-editor, illustrator and copywriter to several publications, most recently 'Addis Ababa: A Manifesto on African Progress' (2018, Ruby Press, Berlin).
Sophie is a volunteer for 'Our City, Our Square' organisation, a recipient of the John Storey Jnr Memorial Scholarship and a finalist in the AIA Graduate Prize.
