Karen is the principal of MAA, a Melbourne-based architecture studio specialising in residential and mixed use projects. MAA's reputation is built on a commitment to craft, experimentation and authenticity of materials.

Karen is passionate about promoting the importance of design and architecture in the community. She is the Chair of the Melbourne University Architecture Advisory Board and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects, Victorian Chapter Council.
