Shelley Penn is an architect, urbanist and board member. She has extensive experience in architectural practice and as a strategic advisor, focused on advancing outcomes for all people through the quality of the built environment through her hybrid practice which commenced in 1993.

Shelley is a member of state Design Review Panels in Victoria, ACT, NSW and WA; Associate Professor at Melbourne University; and Adjunct Professor in Architecture Practice at Monash University where she is also the University Architect. In 2021 she was made a Member of the Order of Australia.
