Bridget Nathan
ArchitectI am a registered senior architect and trained interior designer with 8 years’ post-graduation experience focused in modernising and revitalising public and education sectors. I’ve enjoyed working on projects such as local infrastructure, libraries, independent, religious, and government schools, and university precincts. I’ve also worked on boarding facilities, apartments and houses.
My role in practice often focuses on fostering the successful technical development of a project, at any stage, to ensure the brief, program and creative vision are realised through cohesive multidisciplinary team collaboration. Working on large scale projects is something I really enjoy because I believe making good design available to a wide range of users supports the creation of a vibrant and sustainable world. I also love to work on smaller design projects that equally offer users unique opportunities to express a creative vision.
My key strengths include confident interpersonal skills, design capabilities centered on form-making, and project oversight including managing stages, deliverables and workflow. I enjoy both working as a supportive member, or leading a team to achieve collective goals. Environmental objectives have been key to projects I’ve worked on and I enjoy embedding targeted sustainability initiatives at a variety of scales.
