Sharon is a Director at JPE Design Studio. As a landscape architect and urban designer, she has experience working across both public and private sectors with a focus on integrated design practice.

With over 25 years of experience in Australia and internationally, she has advised on public policy, strategic engagement and led interdisciplinary teams to create successful public spaces. Her projects have received awards at state, national, and international levels, spanning the education, health, culture, infrastructure, and recreation sectors.

Collaboration and communication are central to Sharon’s design approach. She has curated major festivals, exhibited work at international events, authored bestselling book Living Outside (published by Thames & Hudson), hosted TV show Australia by Design Landscapes, and presented the successful radio show The Plan on Radio Adelaide.

Sharon has held various positions with AILA and continues to contribute to the broader design community through public speaking, mentoring, and jury panels.
