Dijia Chen

Dijia Chen is Lecturer in Architectural History and Theory at the University of Melbourne Faculty of Architecture, Building, and Planning. Her work critically examines the architectural production of the developing world as a form of mediated knowledge under asymmetrical power dynamics, bringing together the study of contemporary Chinese architecture, transnational Modernism, and curatorial studies. She has received fellowships and grants from organizations including the American Society of Learned Studies (ACLS), Society of Architectural Historians (SAH), and Thomas Jefferson Memorial Fund. She has co-authored a book and her papers are published in Architectural Theory Review, Log, Architecture and Culture, GTA Papers, Histories of Postwar Architecture, among others.
