I am an architecture academic at The University of Queensland in Brisbane/Meanjin. I have degrees in Architecture and a doctorate in Anthropology and undertake research into architecture and culture, place and place attachment, and digital cultural heritage. I have special interests in Indigenous and culturally specific housing and architecture; domestic practices and the everyday in housing; social and community housing; digital methods for recording heritage and other places. I teach design, history, people-environment studies and research at the School of Architecture, The University of Queensland. I aim to work in an ethical and socially responsive way in both my teaching and research and advocate for change where it is needed.
