Liz is a registered Architect and Managing Director at HASSELL. She has a broad range of experience in commercial, residential, culture and arts, education and large master planning projects in Australia and abroad in both design and construction stages.

Liz has been involved in significant and city shaping projects whilst at HASSELL including the Harbourside Redevelopment, Sandstone Precinct Lands Department, 110 Walker Street Commercial Tower, The First Building (Bradfield), Waterloo Metro Residential Development, the UNSW NIDA Postgraduate School, The State Library of NSW Redevelopment and Summer Hill residential apartments.

Liz has a passion for design excellence and regenerative outcomes with a particular interest in exploring innovative sustainable initiatives.

Prior to HASSELL, Liz worked with Foster and Partners designing and managing projects in London and the Middle East, including the Central Markets Redevelopment with a 69 storey commercial tower and an 88 storey residential tower. She also spent three years based on site at Masdar City, Abu Dhabi , designing and delivering the first office building and Personal Rapid Transit station for this new carbon neutral /zero waste city for 40,000 residents.

Liz is passionate about promoting women in the profession, and is an active mentor and role model to the next generation of emerging leaders.

Liz graduated from the University of Sydney with the C H L Turner Memorial Prize in Architectural Design, awarded for excellence in architectural design throughout the Bachelor of Architecture degree.
