Sue Savage has been an architect for over 35 years, 10 of these in practice and the rest as an academic. She has held the position of Chairperson Board of Architects of Queensland for 15 years and been a senior leader in her university for over 10 years. Sue was the recipient of an Australian Award for University Teaching in 2000 and Discipline Scholar Architecture 2010-2011. Her interests now centre on the development of young architects, particularly young women, and advocacy for the quality of education that underpins architectural practice.
