UNSW is seeking applicants for the Turnbull Foundation Women in Built Environment Scholarship.


Worth $95,000 over three years, the scholarship is tailored to support women in the built environment industries accelerate their career and their leadership capabilities. It will support professionals in undertaking higher-degree research at UNSW and also provide the opportunity for the recipient to undertake the Australian Graduate School of Management Women in Leadership Program during the tenure of their degree.

The scholarship is open to new and current PhD candidates. The scholarship is open to new and current PhD candidates, and the proposed research should:

  • Demonstrate an interdisciplinary approach to city making
  • Promote good urban design that is economically, socially and environmentally sustainable
