Be part of Parlour’s first exhibition – send us your Portrait of Practice.
What does an architect look like and what do architects do all day? Portraits of Practice at the University of Sydney’s Tin Sheds Gallery includes crowdsourced images of the people of Australian architecture at work. And we want you all to participate.
We want to capture a collective picture of who the profession is today, and we need as many people as possible to contribute. Don’t think you’re not interesting enough, because you are!
Post an image of you in your place of work on Instagram – it could be the office, the building site, the meeting room, wherever it is that you work. We’d like pictures of women and men; senior and junior; registered or not. We’re interested in the ordinary and everyday, as well as the exceptional and unique – you choose.
In the caption include:
- Your name and what you do
- Our Instagram handle @_Parlour
- hashtag #PortraitsofPractice
If you’re not on Instagram, email your pic to along with the caption and we’ll post it on the Parlour account.
Represent yourself! We look forward to seeing your own portrait of practice.
