Akua Danso, co-founder of Black Females in Architecture, is hosting the second BFA international Meet & Greet in Melbourne at Brickworks. This is a wonderful opportunity for industry professionals, students, BFA members and supporters to meet, be inspired and discuss topics of interest.
Akua is in Melbourne for Transformations: Action on Equity, and is taking the opportunity to spread the word about BFA and create new potential partnerships and contacts. BFA is a new point of call for improving the industry through positive recognition of the black women who are doing great things within the industry!

What is BFA?
The Black Females in Architecture (BFA) network was founded in the UK back in June 2018 to increase the visibility of black and black mixed heritage females within the built environment fields.
What does it do?
BFA actively addresses issues of inequality and lack of diversity within the industry. The network supports its growing membership through the provision of a support network within which members benefit from shared knowledge, advice, guidance, access to the personal networks of fellow members, job opportunities and much more.
How many members does it have?
Nearing the end of 2019, BFA has over 200 members and counting. We look forward for you to join us.
